Personal Experience

Dr. Wood is a native of nearby Gardendale, AL. Dr. Wood earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Auburn University in 2008 and completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 from Auburn University. Dr. Wood spent one and a half years after graduation in Atlanta in a large corporate practice prior to moving back to Birmingham in August 2014, where he has practiced at Palmerdale Animal Clinic since. When not at work, Dr. Wood enjoys golfing but will settle for playing video games if the weather isn’t cooperative. Dr. Wood has two dogs: a great dane named Eros and a beagle mix named Abbie.
